We are the first hotel in Stralsund to offer our guests an in-house salt cave. Visitors are welcome to experience the beneficial effects of salt. Just feel inspired in a beautifully illuminated unique space of rock salt with air-conditioning.

Enjoy the benefits for your health by visiting the salt cave. The healing power of salt has been known for thousands of years. It is applied for treatment by physicians and alternative practitioners.
By using the ancient form of Himalaya rock salt and salt from the Black Sea we reproduce the natural micro-climate of healing salt caves. Beneficial minerals and trace elements such as calcium, iodine, iron, magnesia, and bromine are added to the breathing air. Inhaling this very clean air with a high content of saltiness improves your general well-being and the healing process of many health problems.

This is how it works:
You enter the cave in your normal clothes. In order to guarantee the purity of the salt you will receive a pair of plastic covers for your shoes. Then you will lie down on a comfortable lounger covered with a warm blanket and enjoy the salty climate for 45 minutes. During your stay, the lights are dimmed and you listen to calming music.
